We are in an era that time waits for no one, that period when happy times run fast, and when sad time becomes slow. But guess what it is neither slow nor fast it all depends on your perception of time. Are you waiting for the perfect time to start up that business, are you waiting for your friend to call on you before you start preparing, what exactly are you waiting for?.

There is no proper time to start anything other than NOW. what do you have interest in, do you want a job, a business, or to learn a skill. If the business idea isn't forthcoming you can do something to while away time. Do you know what content writing is? It is the biggest and amongst the most lucrative soft skill, you can achieve today all over the internet what we see is writing skills of various types, be it written, visual, images, audio, you name it. They are all creative writing in one way or the other. Let me, guild, you on ten ways to become a better writer or better still content writer.

Content creation as the name implies is the ability to generate ideas that appeal to your buyer persona, creating written or visual content around those ideas and making that information accessible to your audience as a blog, video, infographics, or other formats. What we see all over the internet is all content be it images, audio, infographics to mention a few are all contents in different formats.

As a content creator, there are ways you need to build yourself.

1: Read news about your industry every day: you can't dish out what you don't know. As a content creator reading should top your hobbies, you need to read daily, ready everything you see especially one particular to your niche that way you stay abreast with the latest information.

2: Write on a regular basis: there is this saying that when you write a minimum of 100 words daily even if it's at anything you will gradually become a better writer. Write on a regular about your niche

3: Study your industry or audience: know your audience, who are they, what do they want, what kind of information are they interested in, until you answer these questions will you decide on what to write.

4: Establish your voice: what will you be known for, what area do you want to specialize in, how do you want to present yourself, discover your style, and put it out there.

5: Acknowledge other people's content when it makes sense: because you are good at what you do does not mean you should not recognize others in the same field. By doing so it increases your chances of being noticed online.

6: Do Research before writing: before you send any content out, be sure of it, I mean be double sure because the internet never forgets anything. So to avoid sending out wrong messages. Do your research to get your story right.

7: Network at every opportunity: the network is very crucial when trying to gain an online presence, establish a good interaction with people, and create friends for life,

8: Offer solutions not just commentary: You should not just be visible online, develop ideas, proffer solutions to issues, encourage people to develop themselves by doing so, people see your other side and may want to interact with you the more.

9: Question everything: Don't accept everything you see or hear, criticize it personally, air your opinion about it in a friendly way.

10: Write in simple and plain English: you won't want your readers to carry a dictionary while reading your work, the simpler your grammar is, the better understanding the readers will get.

Finally don't forget to give a third party your work for his/her opinion to proofread or edit your work before taking it online.

Best Selling Skills

Growing up and having that mindset of wanting to be a doctor, an engineer, a Lawyer, and what not. Then I found myself gradually shifting focus to something else because of the course I ended up studying at the University then after years of graduation, I still tell myself I will land myself a befitting job with pay of 80-100k. I kept on trying multiple places, attended interviews others I didn't because of distance, in a week I wrote an average of 8 application letters. I developed a habit of buying newspapers to read where I know they posted job offers still yet no job. I decided to do something different guess what I did?.

I decided to learn a soft skill online.

I registered for online classes, I had an interest in some I paid for others I didn't but I was still not satisfied. I enrolled in a six-month digital skills program I learned a lot there most especially the basics of having an online presence which got me doing jobs on pro-bono basics to better my skills, it gave me few gigs and lots of money, to be honest, but I was still not satisfied. I had this burning desire for more knowledge of digital skills. I don't know why but I kept on attending training, online classes, learned courses online and offline I even built a website using WordPress nigeria review of books all this was just to keep my knowledge afloat. This did not stop me I was still hungry for more until a friend shared a flyer with me via WhatsApp guess what it was all about?

Never mind I will tell your real quick. It was a flyer that offered a free programme to learn high demand skills that will give you a competitive advantage in the global workforce powered by the Side Hustle Internship. This wowed me being me and knowing it was free Ha, I immediately registered for it at www.internship.side.hustle.ng with all honesty taking that step that day was among the best decision I have ever had to make.

It was a four weeks course, and I enrolled in a content creation class. There were others like Mobile application, customer service, product management, UI/UX, graphics design, video animation, public speaking, digital marketing, and lots more. The class started I had high expectations and I was not disappointed with tutors like Ms Temiloluwa Abiola, Ms Rachael Philips and Ms Mojololulwa Adeniyi these ladies were simply amazing like they have taught in their previous life. Ms Temi broke every single detail down like we were toddlers the class was so interesting and never regretted enrolling for content creation at side hustle. We had weekly tasks, challenges, and quiz. There were prizes and free data for whoever toped the challenge for the week which made it more interesting because it became highly competitive as everybody wanted free data. Who no like better thing 😃.

My experience at side hustle internship 3.0 has been beyond the best online class I have ever had. I now know in totality what content creation is. Thank you to all my tutors for not holding anything back. Thank you side hustle internship for this opportunity I am super proud to be called a content writer now.
